Job Description

The EMEA Deal Desk Specialist is part of the Deal Desk team responsible for all European deal booking activities : pricing, approving non-standard terms, and assisting in winning high-profile and high-volume opportunities. This includes reviewing and preparing accurate bookable contracts and flagging revenue recognition issues related to ACS 606 for all deals.

The Deal Desk supports the Sales process across EMEA, working with multiple stakeholders. This role is remote-based.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with sales teams to ensure contracts maximize bookable revenue for the company and sales team.
  • Understand and apply market pricing, analytics, and financial strategies for large, complex deals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify acceptable options to facilitate deal closure.
  • Approve deals in Salesforce and serve as an escalation point to move deals forward.
  • Review exception pricing requests and their justifications before forwarding to the Deal Desk Director and CFO.
  • Share best practices and ensure compliance with internal policies and processes.
  • Build relationships with sales leaders and their teams.
  • Work closely with Sales Coordinators and the Order Management Team.
  • Assist with ad hoc system projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should have :

  • Experience with multi-country sales contracts.
  • Ideally, previous experience in a software company and working knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment across up to 16 countries.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach.
