What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in building event-driven applications (Kafka). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in designing scalable, distributed systems and expertise in managing both relational and document-based databases.

Location: 100% remote position for candidates located in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using C# and .NET.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka.
• Build and maintain distributed systems that are resilient, reliable, and scalable.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
• Proven experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Deep understanding of relational databases (RDBMS) and document-based databases.
• Strong SQL skills for efficient data management and querying.
• Experience building and deploying distributed systems at scale.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or similar.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
