About the job

The Global Process Expert – Customer Master Data Pricing & Commercial Conditions Administration acts as the core model guardian in the coordination of activities to ensure best and harmonized practices are adopted by all Local/Regional/Hubs teams. He/She drives change management and embarks the impacted people to secure adoption and relevancy of the Core model evolution, identifies risks and discrepancies, develops adequate action plans to mitigate them, recommends improvements, and monitors till implementation.

Main responsibilities

Core model

  • Contribute to the design, development, maintenance, simplification, optimization, and improvement of core model processes in collaboration with regional leads/Hubs and Customer Master Data Global Process Lead.
  • Contribute to improving service to customers through the proper maintenance of commercial conditions and pricing master data and customer attributes (customer group, customer hierarchy, etc.).
  • Build strong partnerships with Global and Regional Trade & Revenue Management teams to ensure a deep level of Commercial policy understanding and consistent commercial terms framework implementable in the different systems.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure that the terms of the contract are well approved in the commercial policy framework.
  • Execute and monitor the credit note issuance of settlement requests for off-invoice contracts (including API Trade marketing service invoices and chargeback process).
  • Processes in Customer Master Data management area include:
  • Customer creation and maintenance.
  • Maintenance of approved gross price list in the system based on the commercial policy template.
  • Maintenance of On and Off invoice contracts including payment terms.
  • Create Settlement Requests for off-invoice contracts and monitor the process of credit note creation, Trade marketing service invoice issuance, and Chargeback process.
  • Manage requests for contract modifications according to commercial policies agreement.
  • Maintenance of the transactional Master Data influencing the order process (transportation group, rounding, etc.).
  • The Core Model mainly comprises processes, technology landscape, RACI, interaction model business rules, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate on the change definition in policies and procedures supporting optimized and standard processes.

Core model adherence/audit

  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across all geographies and drive standardization of processes.
  • Lead the preparation, conduct, and follow-up audit across all geographies for core model adherence.
  • Review, discuss, and support in the approval of exceptions to the Core Model with the regions.
  • Utilize dashboards and other enhanced visualization capabilities to illustrate historical trends and document and report detailed observations, instances of non-compliance, and improvement opportunities.

Global projects and initiatives

  • Ensure iO2C Core Model components are well understood to perform an effective implementation.
  • Deliver projects across all regions, notably technology implementations.
  • Own the business case for the relevant project including its implementation impact within iO2C P&L.
  • Support neighboring functions' projects & other global initiatives impacting the Service Line.

About you

Experience

  • 5 to 10 years of process knowledge of Pricing, Contract management, and Customer Master Data Pricing & Commercial conditions processes and contracting tools related.
  • Deep knowledge in Commercial policy, Trade agreement On and Off invoice, Tender Management, Pricing policy and maintenance, GtN allocation, Accrual management, and Settlement (essential).
  • Strong understanding of the overall Order to Cash and Supply Chain E2E processes.
  • Good knowledge of pharma business commercials, Trade Environment, Finance & business modeling.

  • Hands-on experience of SAP (essential) in S4 Hana preferably, MDG, Contracting tool (Vistex, Condition Contract Management modules) (essential).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise in MS Excel (essential).

Languages

  • Fluent in English (minimum of strong B2 level required).
