Senior Data Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced financial environment. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining robust, scalable data processing pipelines and services using modern cloud technologies, with a focus on Python, Databricks, and Azure. This position is open to candidates located in Spain.

Core Requirements

• Strong foundation in software engineering, testing, and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in Python for advanced data processing and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks for large-scale distributed data processing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally using version control systems.
• Experience working with cloud computing environments.
• Proficient in SQL for database queries, transformations, and data integrity.

Desirable Skills

• Development experience with big data storage patterns.
• Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of monitoring and alerting systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting is a strong plus.
