What this job can offer you : This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Senior Payroll Specialist, joining our Global Payroll Operations Team.

What you bring :

  • Several years of payroll management or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Proficient in using software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheets.
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
  • Is a productivity geek and will constantly think of ways to improve and speed up their work.
  • Writes and speaks fluent English.
  • Experience working remotely is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Act as a true subject matter expert for the Netherlands, managing existing relationships with key stakeholders within Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
  • Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filing requirements, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance.
  • Responsible for ensuring full data integrity and quality.
  • Experience in accounting / reconciliations.
  • Focus on KPIs and SLAs.
  • Skilled in implementing and improving processes.
  • Ability to mentor and support payroll specialists.
  • Able to back up regional managers during times of absence.
  • You'll report to : Associate Manager, Payroll Operations
  • Team : Operations - Payroll
  • Location : EMEA
  • Start date : As soon as possible

The base salary range for this full-time position is from $33,300 to $74,850. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
