Field Service Engineer I&C for Turbomachinery

At MAN Energy Solutions Spain, we are seeking an I&C Commissioning Field Service Engineer to join our PrimeServ Industries department.

Your responsibilities will include supervising and executing field service work, both onshore and offshore in Spain and across Europe.

Key Tasks :

• Perform control system work and adjustments during service and overhauls on turbomachinery and auxiliary systems.
• Install, test, and commission process control systems on new and existing turbomachines and ancillary systems.
• Adjust and replace instruments, transmitters, transmitters, PLCs, controllers, and other control equipment.
• Implement software modifications and carry out changes in control and visualization systems according to MAN requirements.
• Commission field instrumentation, including calibration checks, loop-checks, motor control centers, motors, and control valves.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, remote data transfer systems, and other control equipment.
• Check and adjust start-up interlock alarms and shut-down systems (engine protection) in collaboration with the mechanical commissioning engineer.

Qualifications :

• Strong knowledge in regulation and control technology (PCS7, Allen Bradley, etc.).
• Professional experience in worldwide commissioning and in the turbomachinery field.
• Willingness to take responsibility and work independently.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Availability to travel for technical assignments in Spain and Europe (minimum 150 days per year).
• Fluency in English.
• Good command of Spanish or willingness to learn.
