Senior IT Security Engineer (m / f / d)

Location: Düsseldorf

The Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Nordrhein is embarking on a digital, highly technological, and automated era. With our IT strategy, we aim to create new technical and organizational options over the next few years to support and implement our goals.

What you can expect:

You will be part of a team of seven. Your primary responsibilities include managing our Elastic ECE environment with SIEM functionality and collaborating closely with our 'Information Security and Emergency Management' team. Your tasks will involve:

• Administration and maintenance of Elastic ECE environment
• Managing endpoint protection solutions (Elastic Security and USB Device Management)
• Supporting the planned vulnerability management solution

What you bring:

• A degree in information technology or equivalent skills and experience from extensive professional practice
• Several years of proven experience operating Elastic environments with Elastic Security and SIEM
• Expertise in operating and maintaining Elastic ECE environments, including SIEM and alarm/ anomaly detection management
• Deep knowledge of secure IT infrastructure and operating systems (Windows and Linux)
• Teamwork, commitment, independence, goal-oriented, structured working style, and analytical thinking
