About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our platform enablement team. Your focus will be on enabling our product teams to deliver the product at great pace & quality. Your job will consist of improving our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD) pipelines, enhancing infrastructure automation for testing or deploying code, and contributing to the high availability, scalability, and observability of our platform.

Our current setup leverages AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code, with infrastructure hosted on AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Global Accelerator, Lambda, and SQS. We utilize Bitbucket Pipelines for CI / CD, and New Relic and Sentry for observability.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it :

• Work closely with product engineering teams to design and support scalable and reliable solutions
• Implement, maintain, and improve CI / CD pipelines, automating build, test, deployment, and release processes
• Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of new tools and technologies
• Monitor pipeline performance & reliability, proactively identifying areas for improvement
• Assist in designing infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation
• Own the process from development to production, troubleshooting and resolving platform issues
• Contribute to planning, retrospectives, and agile meetings
• Share and document best practices and lessons learned
• Advocate for a DevOps mindset within teams
• Support the shift to macro-services architecture
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for CI / CD platform insights
• Propose and evaluate new tooling (e.g., Terraform, GitHub Actions)

You’ll be a great fit if you bring some of the following:

• Experience with CI / CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS DevOps) and infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK)
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS
• Strong knowledge of Git
• Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Ruby, Python)
• Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality delivery
• Effective communication in English, both written and verbal
