Private Equity Senior Associate – Barcelona

Company Overview: Our client is a dynamic and growing small-cap private equity firm based in Barcelona, focused on investing in high-potential businesses across various sectors. With an average investment ticket size of €5M, the firm is dedicated to driving value creation through strategic and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead financial modeling and valuation analysis for potential investment opportunities.
2. Conduct detailed due diligence and financial analysis, including industry research and market assessment.
3. Support deal structuring and negotiation processes.
4. Work closely with portfolio companies to enhance value creation and monitor performance.
5. Collaborate with senior leadership and investment team on investment strategy and execution.

Candidate Requirements:

1. 3-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in Transaction Services (Big 4) or Investment Banking.
2. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
3. Experience in due diligence, M&A transactions, or private equity investments.
4. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced investment environment.
5. Fluency in English & Spanish.

Compensation:

Competitive base salary. Performance-based bonus. Carry interest from the Senior Associate level.
