Our client is an innovative biopharmaceutical company from China mainly engaged in the integration of R&D, production, and sales of recombinant protein drugs and microecological preparations. It focuses on antiviral, tumor and immune, blood, digestion, degenerative diseases, and other therapeutic fields. We are hiring a National Business Manager to join us and develop the new market in Spain.

Market Strategy & Sales Execution

  1. Identify market opportunities and competitive challenges, gathering first-hand data to develop local sales plans and achieve revenue targets.
  2. Lead market access strategies: Drive reimbursement, pricing, and listing negotiations for products in hospital formularies, retail pharmacies, and national/regional tenders.
  3. Manage public tenders: Oversee participation in government procurement programs, ensuring competitive positioning and compliance.
  4. Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with health authorities, HTAs, and payers to secure favorable access conditions.
  5. Design and implement territory-specific strategies for hospital and distributor channels, including mapping key accounts (hospitals, clinics, procurement groups).
  6. Optimize supply chain profitability by analyzing value chains and renegotiating terms with distributors.

Distributor & Stakeholder Management

  1. Manage and evaluate distributor performance, addressing strengths and weaknesses to maximize market share.
  2. Build direct relationships with KOLs, hospitals, pharmacies, insurers, distributors, and government authorities.
  3. Lead new product launches (pre- and post-marketing), including pricing strategies and stakeholder engagement.

Market Expansion & Team Leadership

  1. Research and recommend 2–3 new product candidates for EU market entry.
  2. Establish local teams.
  3. Frequent travel (>50% within the assigned country).

Qualifications

Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Life Sciences, or Marketing; 10+ years in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in oncology/autoimmune drugs; Proven track record in hospital channel marketing and distributor management; Familiarity with local market systems and tendering processes; Native-level Spanish and fluent English; Strong negotiation and teamwork skills.

Preferred: Experience in biologics/biosimilars launches; Existing network with key EU healthcare stakeholders.
