Offer Description

a) Tasks to be performed :

  • Maintenance, care, and euthanasia of animals (categories A and B of Order ECC / 566 / 2015), including R&D procedures (category C).
  • General maintenance of the animal facility (cleaning, stock control, storage).
  • Participation in implementing new equipment and infrastructure, and developing standardised work protocols for the animal facility and CICA.
  • Technical support in handling, maintenance, and management of scientific-technical equipment and infrastructures.
  • Training researchers in using scientific and technical equipment and providing support.
  • Coordination of the use of the animal facility and equipment during seminars, congresses, and workshops.

Specific Requirements

  • Qualification : High School, BUP, FP2, Advanced vocational training certificate (ASVTC), preferably related to life and health sciences.
  • Experience in developing animal models in rodents and fish.
  • Specialised training in animal experimentation and related fields.
  • Possession or ability to obtain accreditation for animal experimentation functions (categories A, B, C of Order ECC / 566 / 2015).
  • Experience and training in scientific equipment and techniques.
  • Basic English proficiency.
  • Computer skills at user level; experience with animal management software (e.g., Anibio).
  • Ability to work in a team, responsibility, and initiative.

Additional Information

Eligibility criteria include academic qualifications in life and health sciences, experience in animal models and care, specific training in animal experimentation, computer skills, and English proficiency.
