The experience we need.
Experience working in a marketing or PR agency as a PR specialist
Detailed understanding of the media landscape, experience securing online coverage and a journalist’s appetite for a story
Interest in the news agenda and trends impacting the comms industry
Examples of great written content for multiple channels
An understanding of digital platforms and social management systems (and an appetite to learn more) would be beneficial.
An understanding of SEO basics, and how links contribute to organic search performance
The role.
Lead digital PR campaigns : shape headlines, draft press materials, manage timelines, and obtain client approvals
Generate content ideas and messaging for client coverage and backlinks
Manage client relations and stakeholders; elevate profiles as industry thought leaders
Research, connect, and nurture relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers across industries
Mentor junior team members; provide support and guidance
Perform link gap analysis; suggest link-building strategies for SEO goals
Utilize tools for tracking coverage and relevant metrics; report findings to stakeholders
Pitch for new business; prepare pitch presentations
