Job Description

This position involves working within the accounting and finance department, focusing on various financial processes and compliance tasks.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist, perform, and supervise the monthly and annual accounting close processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with different departments to provide financial information.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring thorough preparation and timely issue resolution.
  • Assist in preparing the statutory accounts of the entities under scope.
  • Prepare monthly reviews and reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
  • Participate in accounting tasks and finance projects, such as entity integration, implementation of new standards, and digitalization initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in general ledger accounting and finance roles.
  • Deep knowledge of accounting policies and IFRS; Big 4 audit experience is valuable.
  • Proficiency in SAP FI and advanced skills in Excel for financial analysis.
  • Fluent in Croatian, with excellent command of English and Spanish.
