Responsibilities

The Advisory group at PJT Partners is one of the most experienced investment banking teams in the industry, involved in some of the largest and most complex transactions over the past twenty years. Our global team covers industries including technology, media & telecommunications, energy, power & utilities, oil & gas, industrials, healthcare, real estate, gaming, and lodging.

PJT Partners' Strategic Advisory team in Madrid is seeking an Analyst with strong analytical and writing skills, initiative, attention to detail, resilience under pressure, and the ability to work independently and in teams within a boutique investment advisory setting.

Analysts will work on a diverse range of transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, recapitalizations, private placements, and leveraged buyouts. Responsibilities include developing, structuring, and financing transactions; attending internal and client meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions. Specific tasks include:

• Financial analysis and modeling
• Drafting client presentations
• Preparing memoranda for internal and external use
• Conducting financial and business research
• Coordinating complex, time-sensitive processes
• Participating in client-facing activities
• Assisting in transactions
• Engaging in talent development and recruiting efforts

Qualifications

PJT Partners seeks highly motivated, intelligent individuals with a record of excellence. Candidates should possess:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 12 years of experience in investment banking (M&A and capital markets)
• Fluency in Spanish
• Outstanding technical, analytical, and qualitative skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and resilience under pressure
