Job Opportunity : Accountant at TRATON Financial Services in Portugal

Our Financial Services division offers flexible financing and insurance solutions, working closely with dealers providing industrial vehicles, buses, and coaches.

We are seeking an Accountant to join TRATON Financial Services in Portugal, in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

• Processing and recording accounting documents.
• Reconciling and analyzing current accounts.
• Participating in and managing daily accounting activities and monthly closings, collaborating with the team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Supporting the preparation of monthly reports and annual accounts.
• Assisting in fulfilling tax and legal obligations.
• Analyzing and preparing accurate financial information for audits and tax compliance.
• Improving existing accounting processes to enhance efficiency and support automation.
• Providing cross-functional support to other departments and the business.
• Supporting administrative tasks related to the accounting area.

Requirements :

• 2–5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Degree in accounting, management, or finance.
• Knowledge of tax, national standards, and IFRS.
• Methodical, structured, with analytical skills.
• Good communication, dynamism, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent English is desirable.
