The Role

As Deputy Team Lead - IT Administration , you'll play a crucial role in shaping our IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, scalability, and security.

The Deputy IT Lead – Administration is a key support role, assisting the IT Admin Lead in managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, focusing on stability, scalability, and security. This role also serves as the primary point of contact in the IT Admin Lead’s absence, ensuring continuity. A strong background in Linux administration, automation, and Large Language Model (LLM) management is essential.

Responsibilities include :

  • Co-create and manage IT infrastructure, optimizing performance, security, and reliability across on-premises and cloud systems.
  • Champion security best practices, conduct routine updates, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Shape our technical roadmap, focusing on scalable IT infrastructure that supports organizational success.

Team & Workflow Management

  • Oversee daily IT operations, prioritize tasks, and report progress to the IT Admin Lead.
  • Lead as the primary point of contact and decision-maker in the absence of the IT Admin Lead.
  • Mentor team members through training and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop automation scripts to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Provide hands-on support during peak periods, especially related to LLM processes.
  • Build collaborative relationships with other departments to optimize workflows.
  • Implement scalable LLM deployments using containerization and cloud resources.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Linux Administrator
  • At least 1 year of experience as a team lead

Skills Required :

  • Proficiency in managing Linux-based systems
  • Advanced scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
  • Experience with hosting, managing, and troubleshooting Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Experience working remotely
