Location: This is a 100% on-site role in Rivabellosa, Spain.

Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 + bonus. Relocation allowance is available for national and international candidates.

We are seeking experienced Data Centre Technicians to join our team. The Data Centre Technician will work collaboratively to ensure the overall availability and reliability of data center operations, involving hardware and network diagnostics, physical repairs, and participation in an on-call rotation.

  1. Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability.
  2. Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs.
  3. Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures.
  4. Train internal teams and develop documentation.
  5. Provide technical support to data center teams.
  6. Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware.
  7. Maintain inventory and assemble/install equipment.
  8. Perform maintenance of test and tools equipment.
  9. Occasional travel to other data centers as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experience in assembling, installing, and troubleshooting computer, storage, and network hardware in a data center.
  2. Experience in installing and maintaining copper and fiber cabling.
  3. Data center experience.
  4. Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  5. Linux OS experience.
  6. Ability to prioritize tasks and react quickly to issues.
  7. Ability to work in shifts, participate in on-call rotation, and provide after-hours support.

Education/Experience:

Hands-on or educational experience in areas such as:

  1. Computer networking.
  2. Scripting languages such as Python or Bash (desirable).
  3. Experience with Cisco IOS or Juniper JunOS (desirable).
  4. An IT-related degree or equivalent experience (desirable).
