The University of Lleida invites applications for a PhD position focused on the life cycle assessment (LCA) of thermal energy storage (TES) systems. The successful candidate will join a dynamic research group to evaluate and optimize the sustainability of TES technologies, including phase change materials, sensible heat storage, and thermochemical energy storage.

Requirements

– Degree in mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a closely related field

– Experience with life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology

– Familiarity with TES technologies or energy systems modelling is advantageous

– Strong analytical skills and scientific writing ability
