What is the objective of this project and what does it consist
The objective of this position is to develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for Operations área related processes improvement and excellence, aligned with company objectives and long-term operational strategic plan.
Main focus will be in launching and leading change initiatives to improve the company processes: Supply Product, Develop Industrial Capability & Develop Supply Chain, oriented towards excellence in our processes with an end-to-end and global vision, ensuring the company processes are standardized, mapped and documented.
Main accountabilities:
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of the Process Excellence strategy, ensuring alignment between local execution and global strategic & Operational objectives
- Develop with process owner the functional and conceptual design of the operational company processes: Supply Product, Develop Industrial Capability & Develop Supply Chain
- Conduct the periodic process governance mechanisms (with process team), to actively manage the processes, with the process owner
- Ensure the company processes are standardized, mapped and documented, and ensure deployment and communication to the whole organization
- Define and implement process Dashboards as a “single source of truth” to monitor and analyse the process performance, defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and for the whole company. Ensure reliability of data in process Dashboards.
- Identify and drive change initiatives for end-to-end process improvements, throughout the whole organization i.e. countries, sites, departments ... and with global vision (“change champions”). Use and facilitate Lean principles & tools as appropriate, such as: Value Stream Mapping, Process mapping, Kaizen events, etc.
- Lead the digitalization process from idea origination to initiative approval: Translate digitalization needs to process requirements and prioritize initiatives. Joint leadership with IT in the launch of the digitalization/automation initiatives
- Articulate sustainment, ensuring improvements are maintained and the process becomes a “way of working” across the company, supporting the maturity growth of processes through clearly defined milestones, standards, and performance targets aligned with the excellence model
What profile are we looking for?
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in operational process improvement or related
- Knowledge in :
- Process management: process development and standardization across global operational processes
- Cross-functional Project management
- Change management
- Lean principles & tools: Kaizen events, Value stream mapping, problem-solving, etc
- Experience working with technology and software teams to align requirements and drive digitalization solutions development
- Lenguages: good Spanish and English level
- Soft Skills:
- Open to change, eager to learn, proactive, flexible, adaptable, with analytical skills, initiative and critical thinking
- Leadership skills to influence teams within the organization at global level
- Communication, active listening and relationship skills, with the ability to navigate at the different areas in the organization, including senior leadership
- Positive, respectful and optimistic
