Genesis Home Technology Architects, a leader in home technology solutions, is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Castelldefels (#Barcelona). Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Technical Support Engineer located in Castelldefels. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, training, and customer service on a day-to-day basis.

Technical Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

  • Networks
  • Setup a full system (router, switches, access points, PDU)
  • VLAN
  • VPN
  • IGMP
  • STP
  • Wireless environment
  • Bands, channels, bandwidth
  • WiFi 6
  • Troubleshooting network problems
  • Wireshark, Metageek
  • KNX

Basic Functions:

  • Process RMAs
  • Reply to support tickets
  • Organize equipment shipping and pickup
  • Test returned equipment
  • Coordinate with manufacturers for solutions
  • Maintain and update showrooms
  • Training Center Maintenance

Other Functions:

  • Conduct online and in-person training
  • Build and document rack systems
  • Product Feature testing

Language Preferences:

Preferential: French / Italian / German / Portuguese
