Purpose of Role

We are seeking a professional School Exams and MIS (iSAMS) Manager responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, security, and management of student and academic data, as well as overseeing external examinations administration.

This role involves working with senior staff to ensure precise entry and timely updating of student information in iSAMS, facilitating performance and progress tracking, and maintaining the database, including integration with third-party systems, staff training, and end-user support.

For external examinations, the manager will handle setup and administration, ensuring all stakeholders are prepared and examinations comply with the regulations of relevant examination boards for IGCSE and IB Diploma exams.

Role Specific Duties Management of the school’s MIS (iSAMS)

  • Ensure accurate data import / entry from admissions and share information with relevant staff.
  • Import assessment data into Gradebooks / tracking systems for effective data analysis.
  • Update and monitor gradebooks for assessment data according to annual cycles.
  • Coordinate assessment administration with academic teams.
  • Ensure data accessibility and generate reports on attainment, progress, behavior, attendance, and other metrics.
  • Manage registration modules, attendance records, cover manager, and liaise on activities, transportation, and summer school programs.
  • Collaborate with finance for billing, produce reports, support results reviews, update timetables, and manage system rollovers.
  • Participate in performance management, support staff training, and stay updated on iSAMS developments.

Management of External Examinations

  • Ensure access to results, process entries, and support students and staff with examination queries.
  • Distribute examination materials, liaise with exam boards, and oversee exam logistics and security.
  • Coordinate with staff and external bodies on exam scheduling, special requirements, invoicing, and post-result processing.
  • Prepare examination rooms, manage materials, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain communication records with exam boards and prepare for invigilator deployment.
