Smadex is a leading advertising technology company founded in Barcelona in 2010, acquired by American-based and stock-listed Entravision in 2018 (NYSE: EVC). We power campaigns for Apps, Games, and Brands across Mobile and CTV using advanced machine learning and optimized creative strategies to deliver results. Smadex is one of the fastest-growing DSPs, and we are expanding our team to support our ambitious plans for 2025 and beyond.

We are seeking a Campaign Specialist with a strong data-driven mindset and relevant experience to join our Ad Operations team. The role involves setting up campaign buying strategies on the Smadex DSP and ensuring they meet our clients' goals through daily monitoring and optimization.

The ideal candidate should possess a blend of business-oriented and analytical skills to understand the short- and long-term challenges faced by mobile advertising campaigns. They should utilize the available data to derive insights, resolve issues, and develop effective strategies and algorithms to enhance the Smadex platform.

This is a full-time position based in Barcelona!

Your tasks and responsibilities :

  1. Leverage the programmatic ecosystem and attribution knowledge to build, operate, analyze, and optimize campaigns to achieve client goals.
  2. Manage and grow your own client portfolio across various verticals, KPIs (CPM, IPM, CPI, CPA, ROAS, etc.), and budgets, with a strong focus on performance.
  3. Analyze large, complex data sets containing the behavior of millions of mobile users worldwide to inform strategic and operational decisions.
  4. Extract insights from our campaign portfolio to make decisions that directly impact company revenue.
  5. Conduct A/B testing of different variables using the Smadex DSP and share results to continually improve performance.
  6. Contribute to the development and improvement of our product tools and processes, ensuring data-driven decision-making at all levels. Effective communication is essential.

What are we looking for :

  1. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  2. Knowledge of digital programmatic buying (performance-focused) is a significant advantage.
  3. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Economics.
  4. A data and performance-driven mindset with experience working with large datasets and understanding analytical methodologies.
  5. Strong analytical skills to interpret key metrics and optimize campaigns to meet KPIs.
  6. Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Feedback-oriented, critical thinking, autonomous work ethic, and high-resolution problem-solving skills.
  8. Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
  9. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  10. Proven ability to solve data-related problems creatively.
  11. Experience collaborating with different teams.
  12. SQL, Python, or R experience is a plus.
  13. Ambition to contribute to building the biggest company in the world.
