ROLE SUMMARY :

King’s College, world-renowned for academic excellence and student leadership, is seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspiring and ambitious professional to the position of Summer Camp Non Residential Monitor to join our teaching team on a temporary basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Staff must respect the guidelines set down by King’s College S.L.
  • Staff is required to attend the Training Days / planning sessions before the start of the Course.
  • Staff is responsible for ensuring that they maintain good standards of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
  • The uniform provided by King’s College S.L. should be worn at all times as well as suitable footwear.

Monitoring Duties :

  • Use English at all times with the children in the course.
  • Be responsible for the well-being of the children in the Course and make sure they are never left unattended.
  • Plan and prepare the sports and games sessions utilising appropriate materials according to the age of the children.

Core competencies and skills :

  • Plan, prioritise and organise tasks and activities.
  • Demonstrate Creativity & encourage innovation.
  • File, retrieve and manage information.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE :

Language :

English : Advanced or Proficiency (C1-C2) (Required)

Spanish : Advanced or Proficiency (C1-C2) (Preferable)

Experience :

Summer Camps : 1 year (Preferable)

Physical Education teacher : demonstrating effective teaching methods and engagement with students in a sports or physical activity setting.
