The Procurement Manager is responsible for driving cost optimization, ensuring effective management of key suppliers and risks, and supporting an efficient sourcing process for goods and services (e.g., local sourcing of print materials, facilitating tender processes, fleet management, and facility/office management). In alignment with HQ Global Procurement and applicable guidelines and strategic directions, you will concentrate your efforts on identifying, planning, and executing procurement strategies and initiatives for goods and services of Red Bull’s third-party suppliers. This includes working cross-functionally to define and align business needs as well as procurement strategies and approaches with internal stakeholders.

Job Description

PLANNING & STRATEGY

  • Work with Budget/Material owners to analyze business plans and company spending to make recommendations for future cost optimization. Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures and guidelines for goods and services in alignment with the Global Procurement Policy.
  • Create and maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders to proactively align and support the identification of possible cost optimization and/or other improvements.
  • Ensure proper management of the Red Bull Spain Headquarters facility, maximizing asset utilization for business purposes, general services, and projects aimed at improving and developing the asset.
  • Analyze trends and market conditions for the present and future pricing, availability, lead-time and capacity of goods and services. Provide methods and support to identify and qualify potential new suppliers.

SOURCE TO CONTRACT

  • Develop and enhance procurement category management, align procurement recommendations that support yearly business plans and goals with internal stakeholders and set-out sourcing strategies for and actively support departments.
  • Define goals and negotiation tactics to achieve best value for Red Bull (incl. pricing, commercial terms, quality, risks, timing, expected performance, etc.). Lead or actively support supplier negotiations.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

  • Set-up yearly Procurement targets in alignment with stakeholders.
  • Establish a regular management reporting on planned and running procurement initiatives and results.
  • Set-up and execute KPI reporting for key suppliers and spend

BUSINESS PARTNERING & TEAM

  • Maintain regular communications with internal stakeholders, to support optimizing budget spend and align on procurement involvement and collaboration.
  • Align Procurement goals, plans and strategies as well as key procurement initiatives, and team developments with HQ Global Procurement and provide regular updates.
  • Lead the procurement team, consisting of two direct reports: a Procurement Specialist and an Office Manager. Responsibilities include staffing, recruitment, supervision, scheduling, professional development, performance evaluation, and overall team management.

Qualifications

Advanced Diploma in Procurement, degree in Business Administration or proven long term experience on the job.
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Procurement role, ideally in the FMCG industry.
Experience in working in a high volume FMCG industry desirable.
3-5 years experience in project and process management.
3-5 years experience in managing and coaching high performing teams.
Facility/Office Management supporting an efficient sourcing process of goods and services.
Solid understanding of category management and state of the art “source-to-contract” procurement processes.
Fluent English and Spanish written and spoken
Ability to establish a long-term procurement vision and strategic plans for the organization.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
SAP experiences desirable
Advanced excel , ppt & word skills
Ability to prioritize multiple activities and focus efforts
Profound analytical skills and creative problem-solving ability
