Job Description :

The Berklee Valencia Summer Programs Department in Valencia is seeking 4 Program Assistants to provide general student, programmatic, and logistical support for three summer programs.

Employment Dates :

July 8 - August 1, 2025. Must be available for all 4 weeks.

Program Dates :

• Berklee Valencia Contemporary Arts and Music Program (BV-CAMP - Youth): July 14 - July 18, 2025
• Music Production Summer Program: July 14 - July 18, 2025
• Spain Summer Performance Program: July 21 - August 1, 2025

Type of Position :

Full-time temporary

Eligibility Requirements :

• Berklee Valencia alumni, including recent graduates from July 2025
• Must be able to work in Europe / Spain
• Must speak English
• Must be in Valencia and able to work in person
• Responsible for finding and acquiring own housing

Additional qualities include being outgoing, dynamic, team-oriented, flexible, reliable, and organized. Preference for applicants with performance or production experience, ability to play instruments, experience with lights and sound, and Spanish language skills. Previous participation in the Spain Summer Performance Program and experience working with students aged 10-14 and 15-22 are also preferred.

Job Responsibilities :

Responsibilities may vary per program but generally include:

• Preparing for summer programs one week prior to start
• Managing a cohort of participants of various ages
• Serving as the first point of contact for participants and families
• Planning and leading extracurricular activities such as jam sessions, open mic nights, and Spanish language circles
• Assisting faculty in classrooms and supporting logistical and curricular needs for classes, activities, and performances
• Possible evening work
