Position Summary

Responsible for monitoring the digital asset custody technology stack to ensure it is operational 24x7, stable, and has sufficient capacity. Provide timely root cause analysis of platform and application incidents, involving key resources as needed, to restore normal operation quickly.

Build automated solutions for complex operational problems using industry best practices and cloud-native technologies. Seek innovative solutions to achieve operational excellence and coordinate with development, operations, and platform teams to improve system availability, security, performance, and maintainability.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous, scalable, and robust operation of production environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams in a fast-paced environment to foster the SRE mindset.
  • Develop and implement shared tooling and processes to enable delivery of new features while enhancing system availability, security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Work with development and DevOps to ensure redundancy and sufficient infrastructure capacity.
  • Analyze events proactively and recommend process improvements to prevent incidents.
  • Manage Level 1 to Level 3 production support.
  • Participate in blockchain node upgrades, management, and deployments.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in SRE or production support in the financial industry or managing critical systems requiring 99.9% uptime.
  • Hands-on experience in production / application support.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Shell scripting, monitoring, and instrumentation tools.
  • Familiarity with developer tools like GIT, JIRA, and Notion.
  • Knowledge of Node.js, MariaDB / MySQL, and automated build / deployment pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Ansible).
  • Experience with Kubernetes clusters.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.
  • Ability to work independently under tight schedules.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
