Descripción del empleo

ArcelorMittal is the world's leading steel and mining company, with around 199,000 employees in more than 60 countries. ArcelorMittal is the leader in all major global steel markets, including automotive, construction, household appliances, and packaging, with leading R&D and technology, as well as sizeable captive supplies of raw materials and outstanding distribution networks. An industrial presence in 18 countries exposes the company to all major markets, from emerging to mature. We are the largest producer of steel in the EU, North and South America, and Africa, a significant steel producer in the CIS region, and have a growing presence in Asia, including investments in China and India.

Flat products in Europe produce slabs, hot-rolled coil, cold-rolled coil, coated steel products, tinplate, and heavy plate. These products are sold to steel-consuming industries such as heavy machinery, automotive, pipes and tubes, construction, packaging, and appliances. Flat Europe has initiated a strategy to become a leading green steelmaking industry. The ArcelorMittal Flat Europe Green project aims to set the standard for green steel across our production sites by deploying similar installations supported by digital solutions.

Our industrial installations are highly technological and require advanced digital, automation, and IT solutions to enhance performance and support our green transition. The Flat Europe digital office team collaborates closely with digital organizations across production facilities to steer the Industrial Digital journey.

The Process Automation team focuses on automating real-world industrial systems to improve performance through technological innovations. This includes automation of production lines and transversal processes such as H&S, logistics, energy management, and environmental control.
