Position : Senior Process Engineer - Tarragona About The Role :

The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality process engineering design within proposals, studies, project execution, and operations. This role involves working as part of a study or project team, ensuring adherence to standards, procedures, schedules, and budgets, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Preparation of PFDs, heat and material balances
  • Development of MSD and material selection philosophy
  • Process and Utility P&ID creation
  • Utilities and chemicals consumption analysis
  • Simulations and calculations
  • Coordination of process team activities

About You :

  • Master's degree in chemical engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Process Engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role involving team supervision or coordination
  • Strong knowledge of process design methods and tools
  • Proficiency in HYSYS, ASPEN, HTRI, and Flowmaster
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages such as French or German are a plus
  • Experience working in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical industries
