Plant Manager

Implements the strategic direction of the company in the operational Plant.

Having the end responsibility for the production and customer base of the plant.

As a plant manager, you are responsible for :

Demonstrates effective leadership : coaching of all team members, equal treatment & fairness, in the interest of the well-being, safety, and development of all team members.

Promotes and applies guidelines and policies.

Responsibility for having the sustainability strategy of Connect Group always in mind when making business decisions, using the monitored sustainable development goals as a continuous compass.

Implementing, monitoring, and guiding the sustainability strategy for the whole group, including ethical behaviour and guidance of risks and opportunities.

Ensures welfare and safety of all plant employees.

Leads and inspires his staff including programme managers of his plant to satisfy the needs of both internal and external customers, prioritizing according to the Group's values : quality, service, and cost.

Ensures that production is delivered according to quality requirements, within budget, and on time.

The Plant Manager is responsible for :

• Improving factory cost price.
• BOL (production).
• BOM (logistics purchase).
• Warehousing.
• Program management.
• Sponsoring operational excellence projects and improvements.

Ensures that the plant complies with corporate guidelines and policies.

Leads the local MT of the plant.

Manage the representative indicators of the operational plant with the objective of knowing their evolution and detecting deviations against the objective, taking the appropriate corrective actions.

Supervise the projects and actions necessary to achieve the planned objectives.

Stimulate the productivity and competitiveness of the operational plant, with a rigorous monitoring of expenses, purchases, stocks, and in general of all the areas and projects of the companies.

Maintain labour relations within and outside the operational plant, promoting human resources plans and encouraging the development of the people in the team (detecting training needs, coaching, promotions, etc.), ensuring the optimal sizing, climate, culture, and staff bonding by supporting actions of motivation, training, and development of the company's staff.

To represent the Company before various bodies and organizations, always promoting the image of the plant and CONNECT GROUP.

Orientates all the above functions to obtain targets in regard to factory cost price level and the growth of the value of the company through its local management team and the products or services.
