DM1Hub aims to serve as the foundation for implementing precision medicine in Spain for patients with Myotonic Dystrophy type 1 (DM1), focusing on improved diagnosis and the optimization of upcoming treatments. The project unites 80 professionals from research and clinical monitoring fields, forming a multidisciplinary team with extensive expertise in DM1, including genomics, epigenetics, bioinformatics, biostatistics, proteomics, applied research, and scientific dissemination. Additionally, the team includes around 70 healthcare professionals—neurologists, neuropediatricians, neuropsychologists, and nurses—across more than 40 hospitals in 8 Autonomous Communities, providing patient follow-up services. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic nurse to join the DM1Hub project. The nurse will collaborate with other nurses and health professionals across Spain, performing similar tasks in different Autonomous Communities. The project is funded by a grant from ISCIII for Research Projects on Rare Diseases (PMPER24/00007), under the 2024 Call for Joint Missions of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, within the PERTE for Vanguard Health and the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
