Job Overview

The Swiss AI Engineering Institute is seeking passionate and driven engineers at various experience levels to join their team. Engineers will work on cutting-edge AI projects aimed at delivering innovative consumer applications, are interested in keeping in touch with newest technologies and interested to be part of the global team. As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for growing the Institute, coding, developing, and implementing AI algorithms that power the next generation of consumer technologies.

Responsibilities

• AI Project Development: Design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms to solve real-world challenges and improve consumer applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to translate AI solutions into viable consumer-facing products.
• Software Engineering: Build and maintain scalable AI-based software systems, ensuring high performance, robustness, and reliability.
• Implementation: Integrate AI solutions into various consumer applications and ensure seamless operation in production environments.
• Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, applying them to enhance product offerings.
• Innovation and Problem-Solving: Contribute ideas to continuously improve AI models and drive innovation in AI-based products.
• Mentorship: Depending on the level, senior engineers will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and help guide their growth in AI and software development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Educational Background: A degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Programming Languages: Strong experience with programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
• AI and Machine Learning Frameworks: Familiarity with popular frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn, etc.
• Data Handling: Experience in handling large datasets and working with databases, as well as proficiency in data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation.
• Consumer Application Development: Experience or a strong understanding of developing software products for end-users and integrating AI solutions into real-world consumer applications.
• Collaboration Tools: Comfortable working with collaborative development tools such as Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems and optimize AI solutions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience Level: Open to all levels of experience (Junior to Senior Engineers). Senior engineers should have experience leading AI-driven projects and mentoring teams.
• Product Development: Previous experience working on consumer-facing AI applications, such as chatbots, recommendation engines, image recognition systems, etc.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying AI solutions.
