About the Site

The site in Visp, Switzerland is growing. For our Biologics organization, we are currently looking for a MSAT Bioconjugates Single Use Expert. Lonza has a strong track record in manufacturing Bio Conjugates from early clinical to large-scale commercial supplies. Our dedicated Protein Conjugation Plant (PCP) is recognized as a center of excellence for Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC) and other classes of Bio Conjugates. Due to increased demand, new Bio Conjugation suites are being built within an existing shell as part of Lonza’s Ibex Dedicate model.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the Manufacturing and MSAT teams in selecting Single Use Technology (SUT) for new production concepts (scale-up, suite change, CAPEX).
2. Promote SUT harmonization within bioconjugates.
3. Support the introduction of new equipment, especially for CAPEX projects.
4. Participate actively in SUA qualification and verification processes.
5. Support bioconjugates and site SUT-related initiatives.
6. Communicate with key suppliers.

Key Requirements

1. Master’s or PhD degree, or equivalent experience in Bioconjugation, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, or related fields.
2. Solid industrial experience (>5 years) in single-use technology and/or manufacturing.
3. cGMP experience and a deep understanding of bioprocess technology.
4. Excellent communication skills for interaction within project organizations.
5. Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German is an asset.
6. Creative, agile, and open-minded approach.
