CURREV Project Coordinator in Architecture

As part of the curriculum revision of the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programme in Architecture, the Department of Architecture (D-ARCH) at ETH Zurich is looking to engage a Project Coordinator ‘Curriculum Revision’. The Bachelor curriculum revision process was initiated by the Department in January 2023 and the Bachelor programme will start in HS 2025. Simultaneously, the revision process of the Master programme started in January 2025.

The Project Coordinator will support a steering committee that includes the Director of Studies, the Study Coordinator and the Educational Developer of D-ARCH, and reports to the Executive Board as well as the Schulleitung, to develop all aspects of the new curriculum, throughout the various phases of the participatory process, from the general concept, over detailed articulation, implementation and evaluation. Tasks of the Project Coordinator include:

• Anticipate and plan ahead the goals and milestones of the revision process
• Steer and facilitate the participatory process with a variety of stakeholders involved
• Organize, execute, and protocol workshops (prepare and edit the discussion documents)
• Assist, support, and evaluate experimental teaching formats and initiatives that will feed into the curriculum revision
• Set up and maintain the physical and digital spaces that act as a public platform for the revision process
• Assist the monitoring process for the BSc ARCH

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in all aspects of teaching in an architecture school (practice, reflection, teaching formats, competency development, admin, …), and a track record of engaging with some or all of these as well as an interest in change management. Familiarity with the teaching environment of the Department is an asset.
