Location: Switzerland (Remote flexibility with some on-site requirements)
Rate: 90-120chf/hour

Role Overview:
As a Full-Stack Java Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications within the financial exchange sector. You will play a key role in building and enhancing the core trading platforms and ensuring seamless integration across multiple systems. Your primary focus will be on the back-end using Java, while also delivering robust and scalable front-end solutions with Angular.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable Java-based applications.
• Design and implement responsive and intuitive front-end features using Angular.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver features in a fast-paced environment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure high-quality code delivery.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and design reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and other challenges across both front-end and back-end systems.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Java Developer with a strong focus on Java back-end development.
• Solid experience with Angular for front-end development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of financial markets and/or exchanges is a plus, but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of German, French, or Italian is a plus but not essential.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
