Senior CAPEX Project Manager

As part of our development, we are recruiting a Senior CAPEX Project Manager to join our teams in Monthey.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver CAPEX projects ranging from 3M to 10M CHF, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and full compliance with GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Support major investment projects exceeding 30M CHF by managing designated sub-projects.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Ensure strong project governance, proactive risk management, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Oversee process engineering activities, including equipment selection, process integration, and compliance with technical and engineering standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management practices, promoting best-in-class methodologies and contributing to the global CAPEX execution strategy.

You profile

• +10y of experience delivering capital investment projects within highly regulated industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.
• Extensive background in managing full EPCM lifecycles, with direct involvement in engineering design, procurement processes, and on-site construction coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale project budgets, maintain tight schedules, and implement effective cost-control measures.
• Strong foundation in process engineering, including the execution of process simulations, equipment specification and sizing, and the preparation of technical documentation such as process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Holds a degree in engineering, with a focus on process or chemical disciplines, enabling active participation in early project scoping and concept development.
• Bilingual in French and English, with full professional proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
