MyCamper is the largest sharing platform for campervans and motorhomes in Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. Our mission is to make camping accessible for everyone by making better use of existing resources.

We’re a profitable scale-up with 20+ employees in three locations, multiple million in annual revenue, backed by experienced investors, and expanding into new markets.

We’re looking for a passionate and driven CFO to take full ownership of our finance function while actively driving cross-functional projects forward. You’ll lead our finance and operations teams, collaborate closely with the CEO and management team, and play a key role in shaping our company strategy.

What You’ll Do

Own financial planning, controlling, and reporting for the Swiss parent company and our Swedish subsidiary.

Lead a team of 9 (1 finance plus 8 operations incl. the operations team lead).

Ensure compliant and correct accounting, in collaboration with our trustee and tax advisor, including year-end audits.

Manage payroll (through a service provider), employment contracts, and permits.

Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to co-develop and operationalize corporate strategy.

Support the expansion of MyCamper into new markets, aligning strategy with financial constraints and ensuring legal compliance across all locations.

Present regularly to the board and lead financial communications with investors.

Lead the operations team, driving forward projects to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Help drive a sustainable business model that encourages the sharing economy and reduces environmental impact.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of finance experience, ideally in a senior finance role (e.g., Head of Finance or CFO) at a fast-growing startup.

2+ years leading and developing high-performing teams.

Proven track record of independently managing and delivering impactful projects.

A data-informed decision-maker who values evidence over ego—where the best argument wins, not the loudest voice.

Experience with shareholder agreements, fundraising, investor relations, and ESOPs is a strong plus.

Problem-solver with a hands-on, action-oriented mindset and excellent prioritization skills.

Strong communicator, both written and verbal, able to align teams and stakeholders effectively.

Comfortable working from our Zürich office with regular (e.g., once per week) travel to Basel.

90% workload is also possible.

Why Join Us

Shape the financial future of an international tech startup with strong momentum.

Lead a team of two direct reports and manage a total of 8+ employees.

Enjoy flexible working arrangements: 4 weeks/year work-from-anywhere and 40% home office.

Option to choose a new company laptop or receive an extra CHF 60/month if you use your own.

50% discount on camper rentals through MyCamper.

Flat hierarchies, motivated teams, and offices in Uppsala, Basel/Zürich, and Mostar.

Participate in quarterly management offsites (in Switzerland or Uppsala) and one full team meeting per year with all employees present.

Tech stack: we work with Abacus, Google Docs, Slack, Confluence, and Stripe.

A workplace that values diversity and inclusion, where every team member is respected and empowered.

Competitive compensation: CHF 120,000–140,000 annual salary (cash) plus phantom stock options (PESOP).
