Senior UX Designer

We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our team focused on frontline operational features and employee experience. This team is at the heart of Beekeeper’s evolution – shaping how we deliver operational excellence, simplify frontline workflows, and strengthen employee engagement.

You will be a strategic design leader, driving impactful UX outcomes across the full product development lifecycle, from early discovery to go-live and beyond. This role is not just about designing great user experiences, but about elevating the entire product experience for the millions of frontline workers who rely on Beekeeper daily.

Strong German language skills are required, as regular customer visits, interviews, and user research will be conducted with German-speaking frontline workers and managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead on all phases of the design process— from conducting research, over quick prototypes to creating production-ready designs.
• Help identify and prioritize impactful features through research and workshops, and consistently sharing the outcomes within the organization.
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to align on business goals with user needs and develop viable concepts.
• Guide the design function to maintain design consistency and coherence across products, and raise our overall level of product design.
• Engage with German-speaking customers to ensure our solutions truly meet their needs.
• Scaling AI possibilities in ways of working as well as in product solutions.

What we look for in you

• Fluent German and English speaker, comfortable conducting customer interviews and research activities in both languages.
• Strong strategic thinker: able to connect UX work to business outcomes and user needs.
• 5+ years of UX design experience, including substantial experience working in SaaS, mobile-first, or employee-focused platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership through ownership of complex problem spaces, driving UX quality, and mentoring peers.
• Skilled in end-to-end UX processes, from discovery and ideation to detailed design and go-live support.
• Excellent communication skills: capable of presenting to and influencing cross-functional stakeholders, peers, users and leadership teams.
• You are comfortable with planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing, and communicating research, and turning the output into digestible reports that can drive informed product design decisions.
• You have a sharp eye for where AI can enhance workflows — and the UX maturity to scale those ideas into productized solutions that bring real value.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland. This is a full-time in-house position.
