Microsoft Senior System Engineer

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing our Microsoft infrastructure. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring high availability, performance, security, and maintenance of our IT services.

Main responsibilities

• Provide production support for our Microsoft environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, including regular system audits and updates.
• Manage and resolve complex incidents and problems, minimizing downtime and mitigating impacts on business operations.
• Manage and implement Microsoft-related technologies, including but not limited to Active Directory and DNS.
• Work with the team on Microsoft infrastructure design.
• Implement and maintain system monitoring solutions to preemptively identify potential issues (e.g., SCOM).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and integration of new technologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and lead problem management processes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and service records.
• Automate recurring tasks.
• Work with the team and Project Management Office on assigned projects, if any.
• Participate in the team rotation for 24/7 on-call support.
