The Global Trade Solutions Sales Manager role is responsible for generating new business and managing business development initiatives.

What you will do :
- Focus on the CIB (Corporate Institutional Bank) Switzerland client base, acting as the bank's face, establishing new relationships, and strengthening existing ones.
- Assess and originate opportunities by understanding client needs and providing advisory dialogue to meet their evolving requirements globally.
- Drive the execution of new mandates to develop and maximize our GTS franchise within Switzerland, providing domestic and cross-border trade products and services to strategic clients.
- Expand GTS coverage of Swiss clients globally to maximize wallet share, collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize the GTS proposition.
- Establish and strengthen business relationships, ensuring fair outcomes and maintaining the bank's reputation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, Group policies, and operational risk management.
In this role you will :
- Maximize revenue growth through GTS business development for CIB and inbound clients, leading global GTS coverage for Swiss clients.
- Develop strategies for winning strategic business and increasing GTS share, understanding client priorities and offering tailored solutions.
- Manage the sales pipeline, following the end-to-end sales process.
- Promote awareness of GTS products and strategies within the bank.
- Stay informed on regulatory and market environment changes affecting clients and the bank.
- Maintain complete sales activity documentation for performance tracking.
- Continuously improve sales processes and inform senior management of obstacles or issues.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of global trade finance, services, products, and techniques, including working capital solutions (RF and SCF), traditional trade (Letters of Credit, import/export finance), and guarantees.
- Knowledge of market trends, competition, and regulations.
- Detailed understanding of GTS back and front office operations.
- Knowledge of credit and risk mitigation techniques.
- Broad understanding of CMB client base.
- Proven sales management experience with a strong sales record.
- Bachelor’s Degree and trade-related industry qualifications.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Customer-driven approach with a high level of commercial knowledge.
- Ability to interact with C-Suite and sophisticated clients.
