Electrical Engineer - R&D

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to drive the development of electrical designs in NeuroLF, our clinical Positron Emission Tomography system. You will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and testing electronic circuits and systems in our nuclear medical imaging devices. Your role is crucial in building complex medical products with high quality, reliability, safety, and maintainability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Development of electronic system solutions for nuclear medical devices, including light detection sensors, high-speed networking interfaces (Ethernet), FPGA data acquisition and processing, power/bias supply & distribution, fast signal routing, and serial interfaces.
  • Design and development of multilayer PCBs (experience with Altium Designer preferred) for EMC compliance.
  • Assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of parts and final products in laboratory settings using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, etc.
  • Cable harness design and routing for electromagnetic compatibility.
  • Collaboration with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Technical design, development, and documentation in accordance with medical device regulations (IEC 60601-1, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
  • Knowledge of hardware description languages (VHDL preferred) and embedded C/C++ for FPGA/SoC and microcontrollers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Master's degree or higher.
  • Experience in regulated industry is a plus.
