Creative Resources Manager / Traffic Manager

As a Creative Resources Manager, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the resources of our creative team. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and anticipating needs to allocate the best internal and external resources.

Reporting to the Head Of Creative Operations, you will work closely with the Executive Creative Directors, all creatives, and various agency departments to ensure smooth collaboration within the Creation team.

You will manage the schedule of a creative team of Art Directors, Creative Strategists, and Copywriters (+30 people). You will gather, evaluate, and prioritize the agency's creative needs. As the team's primary point of contact, you will liaise with the Client Services department (Accounts Managers/Directors) and find planning/resource solutions that meet the agency's business and creative challenges.

Your main tasks will include:

  1. Traffic management for Art Directors, Creative Strategists, and Copywriters: Verify and compare requests against quotes and remaining work, process requests, update team schedules, manage priorities, arbitration, and communication of solutions.
  2. Anticipation and coordination of needs: Collaborate with the Client Services department to anticipate upcoming needs, create and update workload plans by business unit to prevent overflows, and plan solutions in advance.
  3. Support the Creation team's processes: Organize and plan the main creative processes, find areas for improvement to streamline current processes.
  4. Management of the Freelance network: Grow the freelancer and partner network, negotiate costs, manage contracts, and process invoices.
  5. Operational management: Maintain detailed knowledge of the team’s strengths, weaknesses, specialities, experiences, and soft skills. Be available, attentive, and proactive.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a communication/advertising agency as a Creative Traffic Manager, Resource Manager, or similar role involving planning creative teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of the communication industry, agency operations, and creative roles.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, plan, and proactively propose solutions to deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset, capable of simplifying complex workflows.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Account Managers, Creative Directors, and creatives.
  • Excellent team management skills, understanding diverse perspectives and expectations.
  • Collaborative, flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in English and native or fluent in French.
