Hitachi Energy Transformers is seeking a Global Digital Transformation Applications Service Delivery Manager to lead our digital initiatives, focusing on marketing & sales, service, and enhancing customer experience. This role emphasizes our Digital Transformation Strategy and Portfolio management, overseeing the global applications service delivery team.

As a Digital Transformation Portfolio Manager, you will drive strategic digital initiatives, identify growth opportunities, and lead the BU's transformation efforts. You will manage the high-impact portfolio, align technology with business needs, and deliver measurable results.

You are responsible for developing, implementing, and executing IT capabilities within your practice area, planning and building IT solutions aligned with business functions.

You will lead one or more projects or programs, acting as the single point of contact (SPOC) for IT and Business Units, and will interact with leadership to monitor and execute these initiatives.

As a Global Application Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee a multinational team of Application Managers, specialists, and developers responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting IT solutions driven by business or support function demands.

Your responsibilities

  1. Cultivate a digital culture and lead strategic initiatives across the digital ecosystem.
  2. Develop and manage a high-impact digital portfolio, prioritize projects, and track progress towards goals.
  3. Spearhead successful implementation, ensure timely delivery, and drive tangible business value.
  4. Translate complex technology into clear business value and secure stakeholder buy-in.
  5. Execute the strategy
  6. Guide Project and Program Managers in achieving their objectives.
  7. Ensure projects and programs are well-organized, staffed, and skilled.
  8. Lead multinational teams supporting services to a specific BU.
  9. Oversee strategy, operations, HR management, and budgeting within your department.
  10. Lead service and project teams
  11. Motivate and develop team members within HR policies.
  12. Implement agile development methodologies
  13. Establish stable end-to-end service delivery for globally used applications following ITIL4 standards.
  14. Support IT implementation projects
  15. Create governance structures and conduct service and project reviews according to global standards.
  16. Financial responsibility
  17. Manage budgets and ensure teams are properly organized, skilled, and aligned with strategic goals.

Your background

  • 10+ years of experience in IT technology and Applications Development Management.
  • 5+ years in large global corporations.
  • 10+ years managing third-party providers on a global scale.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology preferred.
