Design Manager - Pharma - 12-Month Contract

Responsibilities:

1. Works with appointed Design consultants and equipment suppliers to manage aspects of design efforts for a pharmaceutical facility build project
2. Works closely with Project Technical Lead
3. Assists PM to develop project strategy, budget and progress reports
4. Leads efforts to select Design Contractor(s)
5. Influences project delivery strategy
6. Ensures projects are implemented in line with company policies/ procedures/ standards
7. Ensures all design/engineering reviews are conducted

Requirements:

1. Degree in Engineering
2. Professional Engineering status
3. Through knowledge of Pharma industry including manufacturing and packaging equipment
4. Technical expertise in at least one area, and competence in several others
5. Proven experience leading and managing a team of technical personnel in a matrix organisation
