Under the direction of the Head of Client Tax Governance and in line with Group policy and best practice, you will advise upon and monitor the procedures and processes regarding the identification, tax treatment, and reporting of clients : Swiss taxes (Swiss Stamp Tax (SST), Swiss Withholding Tax, Additional Withholding Taxes, Tax Refunds), international tax regimes (Qualified Intermediary Agreement, FATCA, CRS, EU DAC6 / OECD MDR), and internal policies related to Client Tax Transparency.

What you will do :
The jobholder will need to gain and leverage a good understanding of cross-departmental procedures and engage as a Tax SME with key stakeholders.
You must act proactively to ensure accuracy, completeness, and the effectiveness of compliance regarding QI, FATCA, SST, TTC operational taxes, and Automatic Exchange of Information (OECD Standard / CRS). Supporting risk management, understanding legislative interpretations, and digitalization of the tax function are key challenges.
Additionally, you will need to maintain a good knowledge of local and foreign tax legislations, double taxation agreements, and understand the interaction of business and banking products across the group.
In this role you will :
Requirements include a university or business school qualification, law degree, experience with QI, FATCA, CRS, Swiss Stamp Tax, DAC6 / MDR, and knowledge of US and Non-US tax principles. A good understanding of private banking clients, flexible and collaborative mindset, organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in PC skills are essential. Fluency in English, with French or other languages as an advantage. Only Swiss or EU citizens or those with a Swiss work permit will be considered.
