Are you ready to be at the forefront of creating groundbreaking optical products? Optotune is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and drive the future of optical technology.

Tasks

1. Technically and commercially leading product development projects from initial conceptualization through to release in high-volume manufacturing in close collaboration with customers, sales team, engineering team, and operations.
2. Directly manage customer communication and relationships.
3. Understand the customer needs, plan, coordinate, and drive customer projects to production ensuring product performance and costs.
4. Regularly brief internal and external stakeholders regarding project progress and milestones.
5. Manage the critical path of the project and key project risks.
6. Responsible for portfolio KPIs and reporting them to management.
7. Lead and develop direct reports.

Requirements

1. Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, physics, photonics or related fields.
2. At least 5 years of experience in project management in high tech industry (preferably in opto-/electro-mechanical systems).
3. Inspiring leader with at least 2 years of experience in guiding teams.
4. Demonstrated ability to think multidimensional when planning, managing teams and projects.
5. Excellent communication skills, hands-on and pragmatic.
6. Experience with PM tools (Monday, Jira, MS Project) preferred.
7. Ready to travel up to 20%.
8. English proficiency.
