Senior Specialist - Business Architecture

We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist - Business Architecture with deep expertise in business architecture principles and frameworks, and the ability to drive strategic alignment between business and Tech. Based in our Zurich office, you will play a pivotal role in the Business Architecture Team, crafting and evolving the business architecture to support organizational goals and transformation. This role demands proficiency in business modeling, business capability mapping, value stream mapping, and cross-functional alignment to deliver value across global functions.

Your Mission

  • Define and maintain the enterprise business architecture, ensuring it supports the organization’s strategic objectives and aligns with industry standards
  • Conduct business capability mapping, value stream analysis, and gap assessments to identify and prioritize transformation opportunities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business units and Tech to develop integrated architectural solutions that address both current and future needs
  • Drive alignment between business capabilities, processes, and systems, ensuring a cohesive and scalable operating model across global functions
  • Facilitate and contribute to business architecture governance to ensure consistency and alignment with enterprise-wide transformation initiatives
  • Provide guidance and insights to senior leadership, presenting recommendations grounded in architectural best practices and market trends
  • Integrate business architecture into project planning and execution, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical implementations

Your story

  • Over 5 years of experience in business architecture, with a proven ability to design and implement enterprise-wide architectural frameworks and solutions
  • Proficiency in industry-standard methodologies such as TOGAF, CBA, or BIZBOK, with additional certifications like ArchiMate, Lean Six Sigma, or SAFe being advantageous
  • Expertise in business capability and value stream mapping, business modeling, and gap analysis
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to create actionable roadmaps from complex requirements
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
  • Business proficiency in English. German language skills are advantageous
