As a Senior Property Underwriter within our General Insurance business, you will be responsible for maintaining a renewal portfolio with a panel of VIC/TAS brokers, using your technical underwriting capabilities to drive profitable growth. In this market-facing role, you will utilise your superior communication & organisational skills whilst collaborating across the Victorian sales and underwriting team to effectively service and develop the portfolio in line with Zurich’s strategic plan.

Important to your success - let's grow together

• Experience in Property Underwriting and commercially astute with a comprehensive understanding of the general insurance industry.
• Proven technical underwriting capability including facultative reinsurance.
• ANZIIF CIP qualifications or equivalent and bachelor’s degree or post-graduate qualifications.
• Strong understanding of the broker market with superior skills in relationship building and negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of the underwriting philosophy, techniques, regulations, and guidelines.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.
