The Opportunity
- Committed Agile DevOps team responsible for our applications from code to production
- Highly motivated multi-location and multi-lingual team working with Cobol and Java applications
- Part of the Front-Office department, responsible for designing, developing, and processing real-time payment applications
- Services with high availability and no downtime
- Work on services under high constraints like speed, availability, integrity, robustness, and quality
- Worldline is one of the largest payment providers globally
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Developers in a scrum team to analyze and fix bugs across all environments, from development to production, and coordinate with teams, clients, and QA engineers as needed
- Support End-to-End Tests and User Acceptance Tests with customers (on-site and online)
- Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests for applications
- Review project documentation and requirements
- Design, write, and execute test scripts
- Review and adapt user manuals for clients (in German)
- Follow up on issue corrections, evaluate urgency and priority
- Participate in application maintenance
- Join team rotation duties to coordinate and resolve incidents
- Reproduce bugs from production, test fixes
- Implement and maintain test automation
- Ensure high quality of applications
Who Are We Looking For
We seek big thinkers with passion, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn and grow. Specifically:
- Certified test engineer (ISTQB) or test manager
- Willing to learn technically and improve business knowledge
- Good team player, resourceful, perseverant, independent
- Agile mindset with customer focus and communication skills (support, UAT, automation)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ownership, ability to work under pressure
- Willing to work in an agile DevOps environment
- Experience with GUI testing (WEB GUI) and system interfaces (XML, SOAP)
- Knowledge of SQL, Java, JUnit, API/Service testing (Postman)
- Knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Jenkins)
- Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in German and English; French is a plus
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Opensearch, Splunk) is an advantage
- Understanding of card payments and mobile payments is beneficial
