As a Back Office Generalist, you will be an integral part of the Back Office Controls team, supporting operational processes and acting as a key liaison across departments.

Your responsibilities will include :

Processing, confirming, and matching financial transactions

Resolving settlement issues and confirmation breaks with front office, custodians, and clients

Managing settlement instructions and ensuring accurate and timely payments

Monitoring cash settlements and conducting reconciliations

Investigating breaks and managing compensation requests

Supporting documentation and continuous process improvement

Acting as a key contact for internal stakeholders on back-office matters

3+ years of experience in a back or middle office function within financial services

Solid knowledge of financial instruments and messaging (bonds, FX, derivatives, etc.)

Experience in cash management and trade reconciliation

Strong interest in IT and technology; open to process innovation

  • Familiarity with SWIFT messaging formats is desirable

Fluency in English is essential, German is a bonus

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
