At Medtronic, you can begin a lifelong career of exploration and innovation, while helping champion healthcare access and equity for all. You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.

A Day in the Life

To support Medtronic's vision to lead and disrupt the EP market in cardiac mapping and ablation solutions for arrhythmia management, we are seeking an energetic, dynamic, and creative marketer. This role involves implementing strategic marketing initiatives for the Affera Mapping & Ablation System. As this is a Western European role, you will have the opportunity to engage with different markets, interact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the region, and influence the future of electrophysiology.

This strategic position is ideal for a highly collaborative, people-oriented senior marketer seeking a new challenge with a differentiated, high-profile product.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and own the strategic marketing plan for the Affera Mapping & Ablation System, positioning Medtronic as a leader in the EP market through visionary leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and execution excellence. Act as a strategic interface among global, regional, and local stakeholders, ensuring alignment across marketing, sales, T&E, clinical, and operational teams.
  • Translate customer insights and market trends into actionable strategies—defining segmentation, product positioning, messaging, building KOL engagement plans, fostering clinical community engagement, and generating market excitement around the product portfolio.
  • Serve as the product champion, both internally and externally, becoming the primary expert on the technology, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Collaborate with field teams to develop impactful campaigns and sales enablement tools, ensuring consistent communication of value.
  • Partner with Training & Education to support product readiness and rollout, utilizing digital and live formats to engage and train commercial and technical teams. Demonstrate strong organizational leadership—removing barriers, providing clarity, and developing scalable solutions.
  • Mentor team members, lead projects, and embody Medtronic’s culture of innovation, inclusion, and execution.

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, or Business, with at least 10 years of relevant marketing experience in the medical device field, preferably in cardiac rhythm management or electrophysiology.
  • Proven self-starter with a track record of successful project execution.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, handle pressure, and maintain a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to articulate marketing strategies, collaborate across functions, prioritize impactful activities, and manage complex projects while building relationships across all levels and cultures.
  • Data analytics skills to derive insights from raw data and understanding of clinical/technical aspects of the role.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus. Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.
